Going with my previous article on Malaysian politicians using the Internet, here’s another shocker I got today - Tun Dr Mahathir’s fan page on FaceBook!
His FaceBook profile is better than mine, plus he has 6,000+ fans at the moment. It goes without saying that someone else is doing the page for him, but it’s a job well done. It goes to show the power of social networking sites like Friendster, LinkedIn and more importantly, FaceBook.
With Facebook you can create a page for any cause, and you can even use FaceBook Social Ads to market your FaceBook pages. Never underestimate the power of viral marketing.
