As much as I’d like to keep today’s free teleseminar on schedule, it seems that the Streamyx connection in my area (Sunway) is very bad. According to Streamyx support, this problem only effects access to sites outside Malaysia but I’m not sure how true this is. InternetMillionaires.com.my is also hosted in Malaysia but I seem to be having problems access the blog admin and other parts of the site.
According to the Streamyx support, this issue should be solved by midnight today but I am not taking any chances since the teleseminar service is hosted outside Malaysia, and the last thing I want is to be disconnected every few minutes. A new date will be announced as soon as possible.
So we’ll have to wait till the connection is smooth again. Are you experiencing any problems?

… as in their standard package details. It’s the world wide web… international? There’s not much content to access locally, most are international. Disappointing really …

I am experiencing the same problems since 3 days (Jan 22, 2008). The first day there was a message on the service line of TMNet, but since yesterdey the message is gone. Nevertheless after calling the service people again tonight, finally after explaining exactly what is currently wrong: Malaysian websites ok, International ones have slow speed, the lady finally admitted that Streamyx has a problem and the technicians are looking into it. Nevertheless, she also promised that by midnight the issue should be resolved. Today is 23 Jan. Are they going to repeat the same message every day ?!

I called in today second time, they said it will be solved by today 12am. So I guess you’re right, they will repeat the same message every day. “Tomorrow” is just a flexible date for them.
