Ok, I just got back home from a short 3d2n vacation to Langkawi, so here are some pictures coustesy of my girlfriend who forced me to bring my laptop along so that she can take unlimited pictures and save them to my Mac, and do it all over again 
Picture of Mahsuri, the legend of Langkawi Island. According to the stories, Mahsuri was wrongly accused of adultery and sentenced to death. Before she died, she put a curse on Langkawi that for 7 generations, the island would see neither progress nor happiness.
As she was innocent and pure of heart, indeed Langkawi remained a quiet fishing village and while the rest of Malaysia grew, the island was sidestepped for progress. It wasn’t until the 20th century when it bagan to develop into a tourist attraction. Several international events are now held in Langkawi, including Tour De Langkawi and LIMA.

One of the main attractionns of the island: duty-free booze, perfumes chocolates and ciggarettes. The above are minatures, but I got some full-sized ones

The island hopping trip was staring to bore me, until the eagle feeding trip which I really loved. The eagles were magnificently beautiful, but thinking about these creatures gathering to eat chicken skin thrown into the water by the guides instead of hunting and terrorizing its prey is a bit disturbing to me.
Lobsters come in so many colors I would readily buy one as home decor.
I absolutely loved the sky bridge at the cable car summit. It took my breath away. We had to go to the cable car base twice as it was closed for maintenance on the first day.

Ok, now back to business. Here’s what happened while I was away:
I made more than $590 while I was away, completely disconnected from the digital world as we know it
Something like that… I didnt really count how much, but I estimate it’s close to that.
