Make Money With PLR Membership Sites

First there were PLR articles, and then there were PLR ebooks. Now, you can even get an entire membership site without doing all the hard work - PLR membership sites have arrived, and they’re here to stay.

The allure of membership sites are hard to resist. Imagine if you charge only $12 monthly for access to your membership site and you have 200 members. This means that every month you’re guaranteed an income of at least $2,400. Have more paid members, and you make much more. Increase your membership price and you also make much more.

In reality however, the whole idea of making residual income from membership sites is just one side of the coin. The really tough part is sourcing, creating and packaging monthly content for your members. A lot of membership site owners focus so much of their efforts on creating new content that they forget an even more vital part of membership sites - getting new members.

Now, PLR membership sites may seem to be the answer for all this. After all with PLR membership sites

  • You are supplied with monthly content in the form of ebooks / articles
  • You are supplied with a working membership site script
  • Your site is professionally designed according to the topic
  • Your site comes with a pre-written sales page ready to accept orders

A lot of business owners love the idea of “outsourcing” content development entirely and focusing more on marketing and generating sales, so the idea of getting Private Label membership site content for a reasonable price is a dream come true for them.

However, like all PLR stuff there must be a limited amount of people using the same content. If too many people use the same content in a small market, it either gets down to a serious price war, or all the “clone” membership sites simply stop working.

One product I whole-heartedly recommend is Ready Made Member Sites by Anthony Hull. When you buy a PLR membership site from Anthony, you get a customize version according to your domain name. Refer to the video to see what I mean.

In fact I paid $197 one time and $47 monthly maintenance for my version of the site at WebGraphicsMonthly.com regardless of the fact that Anthony is my friend simply because:

  • I hate dealing with technical stuff. With RMMS everything is set-up for me including the Cpanel, membership script, admin area, members area and products - all I need to provide is my domain name.
  • I know how hard it is to create monthly content. With RMMS I get 4 new products added automatically to the members area
  • I know selling is easier than maintenance. With RMMS I do no maintenance. I just sell and sell and sell. I know that if my focus is in selling, it only a matter of time before I get a healthy profit.
  • I can recognize quality. I know how to differentiate a truly good product from crappy ones.

So if you want to start a membership site, I’d suggest you think out of the box. Yes, you can go the traditional route but you may just end up spending more time and money on the “solo” route. But why not try a Private Label or PLR membership site?

The good news is by doing my fair share or arm-twisting, I’ve secured a special discount for you. The bad news is that the discount may be removed without notice, so get it now.

  2. Click here if you’re just interested in Web Graphics Monthly
  3. Click here for just the Easy Member Pro script and do it yourself

Is’t advisable to use as I check it with Google that they are planning to scrapped down all MFA site with no unique content (they want to remove all pagerank for MFA sites).

I surely think they will do it to PLR soon.

Wow.. did Google appear in your dream and told you that? Besides, Google is probably after duplicate content, not PLR.

Paypal2u Bloggers,

I think its merely a matter of reharshing the PLR material. Of course the lazier ones prefer to just use it as it is.

For PLR articles, its pretty easy to reharsh using software like content spooler etc. And you can always compare the changes using copyscape.com or free software like http://www.dupefreepro.com (not aff link nor related to them)

Gobala: PLR memberships have been around for quite some time already. The more pressing issue is differniating the trash from the gold.

Regards,
Alvin Huang

In terms of “duplicate content”, it only applies when using PLR articles. For PLR membership sites where the products are in ebooks / software / graphics and not accessible by search engines, it has zero impact.

you’re assuming that the only decision point by google and others is solely on what the search engine can access.

isn’t it possible that you will see human reviewers (like paypal has) that will flag a site, or an approach like PLR, as being nothing of unique value to users?

That’s highly unlikely unless someone in Google has a personal agenda over you. Even if that does happen, there are hundreds of other ways to make sales for your site, inc PPC and other forms of advertising.

PLR exists even in normal business, the difference is that it’s called OEM or Original Equipment Manufacturer. Most of the pharmaceutical / beauty / medication products you use now are only made by a handful of companies.

Gobala

Your domain name for this Members site is WebGraphicsMonthly.com suggest that it provides web graphics on a monthly basis.

So does this mean the members site is only about getting web graphics or will there be more for different niches from this member site?

Hi Gobala,

I got a couple of problems that I know you can help me with, I am disabled and I have been buying rights to site stealers, peel away ads, instant PLR cash and a couple of hundred other products that I either have reseller rights to most of it, unfortunately I am completely new to this field and I don’t have a customer list or any knowledge of how to setup a web site, all I have is a bunch of files on my pc? How do I start to get the show rockin’?
If I don’t start to make money soon, I will be homeless in less than 30 days, can you help me before it’s too late? I am desperate for your help, I want to get launched so I can make money fast!!!!! I willing to continue to invest as I can afford it, but right now I got everyone on my back to pay them. I can’t afford to keep spending without nothing coming in. I never forget the people who help me out and I’ll try to do right by you as well. Any help you can give me will greatly be appreciated and never forgotten!!!! Thanks, Michael

When I first heard about PLR products, I thought I discovered a gold mine. Until I joined a PLR membership site, and I took a look through those products they had. They were of such a poor quality that I was simply ashamed to resell them. Maybe it was for the better, because at that time I had no idea about internet marketing, and I would have spent a lot of money on PPC advertising without any research and perhaps with negative results.
Anthony’s product looks great, maybe I’ll give it a try.

I’ve used PLR content of various types for several years quite successfully.

You should always re-write content, to make it unique, and in some cases to improve it!

But like somebody said above, the challenge is to sort out the junk from the quality products. I would suggest subscribing for a month and reading everything you get. You can usually tell right away if it is going to be good quality content.

When I build a site that is a plr site, I always change it around some. That way I avoid having my site look like all the others that got that same package.

David
