That is a great news for Malaysian. Now, I can take up more opportunity offered in PayPerPost.
Finally! I’m glad that PayPal finally allows Malaysians to withdraw funds from their account. Now, there’s no reason for someone not to start using PayPal for their online business
Hi Gobala, thanks for the backlink. I appreciate it.
I have successfully (and may I dare say, the first to do so?) withdrawn my PayPal balance to my Citibank VISA credit card. I have the details in my blog. Needless to say I am SO happy, so now I’m doubling my online money-making efforts and putting up an PayPal e-commerce store very soon!
this is a great news! finally paypal is a great option for me

Thank you.
I was excited for a while, but no longer after reading the whole thing. Your title says “Paypal Debit Card for Malaysians”, and I thought PayPal is offering debit cards for Malaysians, but the fact is only they offer a withdrawing service. Mind editing the a little misleading title?
If you want to withdrawal the money from you Pay Pal account to your Credit Card then Pay Pal has made that possible in the following countries.
Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Cyprus, Estonia, Gibraltar, Iceland, Indonesia, India, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Philippines, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, UAE, and Uruguay.
Most of this countries have problem with the bank account so transferring the money to the Credit Cards comes as good news for them.
To withdraw funds from your PayPal account to a Credit, Debit, or Prepaid card, add a card with a Visa or MasterCard logo. Debit Cards are accepted only if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo
You can start your Pay Pal right away with $25 free that you will get when sign up on Widgetbucks
just like a lucky star for a malaysian with paypal acc.
Hi
I’m new to all this! Help!
Since PayPal now allows transfering funds to credit cards, how do we transfer that money from our credit card to our back account? Do we request the bank to ‘refund’ the excess amount in cheque back to us? Would they charge us for the service?
I do not have a debit card. Should I get a debit card at all or would a credit card be sufficient? If a debit card is more appropriate, which bank should I apply from? Gathering from all your posts, is Public Bank’s Electron card the best option? If I were to apply a savings account with Public Bank and open the online services, can I then transfer funds between the debit card and the savings account freely?
Chez
if i’m not mistaken if you use credit card the amount will be knocked off your balance. so you won’t get the money but you will owe the bank less. i’m not sure about the charge though. if the withdrawal charge applies, you’ll want to withdraw one huge amount instead of multiple small amounts. one way to get the cash out is to use your credit card at the atm the way you withdraw from the card. like you have used $500 from your credit card, you withdraw $100 (plus withdraw charge) you get $95 knocked off your credit so you owe 405 to the bank and then you withdraw from the card $90 (don’t forget you will be charged to withdraw cash from credit card)
*rates are not accurate. i’m just giving an example on how the whole thing should logically work
