On Vacation to Mount Kinabalu / Kota Kinabalu

I’ll be on vacation till 4th April, this time on a hiking trip to Mount Kinabalu, and hopefully I’ll get to spend some time in Kota Kinabalu as well.

It’s a 5d3n trip, so I’ll still need some time to recuperate once I get back :)

I asked my friend if he’s done his preparation to climb, and he said “it’s all in the mind”..

Well I certainly hope so as I’ve NOT been going to the gym regularly enough to prepare for this.

More pictures on Kota Kinabalu here.

I know, I haven’t been writing as much as I did last month. I’m working on several projects that are draining my time, and I suspect that until it’s fully launched I will not have much time for writing.

But I DO plan to come up with what I call my “Universal Guide to Internet Marketing” very soon on this blog, so stay tuned for that.

I’m off.. see ya later.

Hi Bala,

All the best to your trip to KK. I hope you will take some photo over the Mt Kinabalu peak and publish at your blog, not someone else…

Remember to try some fruit call ‘dalap’ if you come across … check with the local friend there and ask if can get one for you, some surprise to you and you won’t able to find this fruit in Penisular …

How was the trip?

I went hiking Mount Kinabalu last
year at exactly the same time as you.

It was a great feeling to conquer the
South East Asia’s highest peak although
we were allowed to stay at the peak for
less than half an hour.

If anyone wants to know how it feels
like achieving the highest point in
life (be it financially or spiritually),
try to be on top of Mount Kinabalu, and
you’ll know all the sweat, perspiration
and determination to reach there is all
worth it.

Think about that! :)
warmly,

Zamri Nanyan
