Newbies By Choice

I’ve had just about enough of this “I’m a newbie poor me…” bullshit. It’s just an excuse for not taking action. You justify the situation by remaining in the comfort zone, and hiding behind the fact that you’re “new”.

It’s easier to do nothing. It’s safer to not have to deal with risk and failure. A lot of people choose this path - it’s called a JOB - and there’s absolutely nothing with having a job.

But if you’re in business for yourself, you’ve got to stop giving excuses like the ones you gave your bosses when you came up short.

How many years do you have to be a newbie before you start making money online? One year? Five? Or six months?

The fact is most of the people saying they are newbies simply have no guts to do anything. So they just buy products that teach you how to make money online, read them, and then condemn them. But they never implement the strategies in the product to actually do something.

They never get out of the learning stage and into the action stage.

Most of them eventually quit.

I think I’m going to come up with a new term for this. I’m going to call them “newbies by choice”

If you ask me, all it takes is one ebook, seminar or personal coaching session to give you a jump start. Or if you have a lot of time to spare, just read websites and go by trial-and-error. Then, if you really wanted to do it, you will.

Otherwise, you’ll just join the rank of newbies by choice, and there are so many of these lurking around waiting to pounce at those who are actually moving forward..

I support you. Grow it. Don’t always think you are newbie. All expert is staring from Newbie. No excuse to stay longer as an newbie now.

Yup, agreed with you. We decide own own destiny. I have my own business conventionally but doing business online is a thing I am beginning to learn more and more each day from people like you, Gobala. To me if one to succeed in anything they need to take action and learn, learn and learn. I am my be old to some of you online but I am willing to learn more.

Cheers to all.

Nah you’re never to old. I think Willie Crawford is older than you are, but I’ve met him before and I don’t see any indication that he takes it as a disadvantage..

Well said, I see this in my office everyday. The moment certain people face problems they role back into their comfort zone and say “i don’t know ma” “I’m new”, 1 year down the road…. ” i still don’t know ma” ” i still new”. Crap!!

Same thing for starting a business, most of the people I meet say they wanna do this and wanna do that. But, when it’s time to execute all the accuses in the world will be thrown around…. Why are people so afraid to fail the first time? Can’t you get back up and try again till you get it right? Sigh…..

Newbies by choice is guess….

I’d just like to add, that everyone fails. I think about 60% of the projects I’ve done this past year, failed by my standards. But hey the 40% made it to real, successful projects. I’ll be happy to create another 6 projects that fail to get to another 4 that is successful.

It’s probably the mindset that people have. Most people just give up after 1 or 2 failures.

In my opinion,

It is all fall down to the sense of urgency. How soon do you want to earn $20K per month. If you want to made that kind of income by end of this year. You better plan to start by now. If not, that is only Goal Settings and yet next year will see the same target. Years in year out.

Ah…I thought I saw your name mentioned in Sabahan.com.
Very true. I tried so many stuffs before I actually earn some money online. Of course it’s not passive yet. But it sure made me realize my goal of getting that spanking hot, new, sexy, loud and reliable Roland Cube 60 guitar amp.!
I learn fantastic stuff everyday through blogs like these.
Thanks.

I was a newbie once 2 years ago. I doubted whether it works at first and tried out a few online strategies, starting off promoting Gobala’s product as a affiliate.

And sales do come in. Not huge but it got response. Now its unstoppable!

All I can say is TAKE SMALL STEPS but MASSIVE ACTION!

How very true, and I mos def agree with what Danny said. A lot of people, friends and family even sit around discussing ideas and concepts on how to make $, but when it comes to execution, there’s a thousand and one excuses.
I finally got fed-up one day and decided to get off my ass and do stuff I wanted to do. Since then, I’ve been truly happy. Not rich yet, but am happy and will get there.
My daily prayer & motto: ” Ideas are Shit, Execution is Everything.”

Hi Gobala,

Well Done Gobala! It’s true that many people know exactly what they have to do to be successful. Their heads bob up and down like ducks in a pond while they say “Yup, yup, I know, I know. I should be doing this or that…” and Then they continue sitting on a couch waiting for the magic pill. They always hunt for the magic pill. But the truth is there’s no magic pill in this world.

When I read your post about this topic, I remember a story I read from a book called, “Roger Magnet’s Success Adventures” by Roger Konopasek and I’ve just shared the story in my latest blog post. I think you might want to read it.

Hi Manidip

Sorry about not getting you the reply. I have been busy with my Blogging Seminar in Kuala Lumpur the past 2 weeks.

Here are the steps, if it helps.

a. I bought Gobala’s Easy Wordpress System and got it installed in my blog, last year;

b. Then in my blog, I wrote an article about how useful the Easy Wordpress System was;

c. In my blog post, I also gave recommendation to my visitors who wants to go and buy up Easy Wordpress System and a link to Easy Wordpress System;

d. Then I suggest to my visitors to go to that link to learn more about the product and purchase it to try it out themselves.

So I am actually making good recommendations to my visitors by writing a Review about the product that I have used.

I hope this answers your question and has been helpful to you.

Hi May

Thank You for reply.
Everything is fine but when you were promoting Gobala’s
product you already had a popular blog , right ?
So then you didn’t have to worry about your traffic and sell.
But in mine’s case neither I have a blog set up nor a topic in mind.
Sorry I am referring you to go and check my message

http://www.gobalakrishnan.com/179/turn-your-yearly-income-into-your-hourly-income/

Then please suggest me what to do next.
Thank you

Kind Regards
