My First Video Ever in Bahasa Melayu

by Gobala Krishnan on February 9, 2009

Rahsia ClickBank

Earlier this year I decided to launch a few products related to the Malaysia market, something I have not really done since the days of Chapter-M. The first of these projects is Rahsia ClickBank, a fast system to making money from ClickBank designed and developed specifically for Malaysians.

And because of that, a lot of stuff needed to be translated to Bahasa Melayu, including me :)

So today I tried to create a promotional video purely in Bahasa and that’s what I ended up with. Not bad right, but you have no idea how many takes and super-edits I had to do to get just that. It seems I have not really spoken BM in a long time, although I remember it used to be quite good.

Also, it’s pretty difficult to talk about Internet marketing in BM because of all the jargon. I need Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka to attend my internet marketing seminars :)

Hi. Congrats on your new book. Some of the ideas are excellent. All this while, I’m reluctant to give a shot at Clickbank, becoz of how to market it and heavy competition out there. Your book helped in a way. Got my first Clickbank money last night.

The date of launching was significant too. 10-02-2009 have a lot of meanings. The combination number of 123 means you are blessed with your voice. workshop is good solution to earn income. Combination of 222 means women likes your product. I guess they’re the ones buying the most. Combination of 246 means good in presentation, bijak berceramah, etc. In sync with 123. Another number combination of 786 means a responsible party and people always give u responsibility.

And not to forget Root Number of 5 means “Perintis”. And always a “centre of attraction”

No wonder the first 200 gone within 2 days, I think. Good luck

first of all, i would like to congratulate to both of you. i follow your blog for quite some time but never leave any comment, this is my first time.

i have read your preview ebook called Tip Super Affiliate Clickbank and i am very impressed. so, i have decided to give it a try. i have a simple question regarding your theory on: -

[keyword] review
review of [keyword]
buy [keyword]
buy [keyword] online

because i am using these keywords, the number of people searching is reduce greatly which mean it is more targeted and less people is going to click my ads. how long its going to take before i am going to make a sales if it still goes on like that?

Haha.. funny. Yes, it’s pretty daunting translating words in BM when you’re thinking in English.. We had the same problem in radio interviews as well. But, the key is to just say it first in English, then just translate it back in BM afterwards. That way, it sounds more natural and avoid recording 2,3 times..

Senang kan?

Not bad, bro! I too have problems with translating internet “alien” words but like people say… “hentam saja la…” as long as it works and the message is put across… :)
