Chinese Bloggers To Take Over The World?
I quote from a recent Reuters report:
“China is the world’s second-largest Internet market after the United States with more than 110 million users.”
“The number of Chinese bloggers is expected to hit 60 million by the end of this year..”
Here’s a picture on an Internet cafe in China:

Ok, these guys look serious enough to me. Brighly lit room, tons of fully-equipped PCs - yup it looks like they are at work to conquer the world.
Come to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Here’s what our Internet cafes are about - dark, noisy rooms, with under-aged kids playing video games. In fact, most Internet cafes in Malaysia don’t even have Microsoft Office / Adobe PDF installed.
All you’ll find is tons of computer games. It’s the new-age arcade, without an age limit.

Hi Gobala, I really want to thank you for writing
Yes, that’s true !!! with the China population, 1% of the people goes into blog will have 1.3Mil bloggers in China …. so imagine how big is it… in fact, I do read some of the news about bloggers in China, they do hv some informative sites report about how to blog in Chinese………
It should be 13 Mil instead of 1.3 Mil.. sorry for the wrong calculation.
But I wonder can you imagine they are surfing in a vacuum with no air and no light? Their Internet is censored from anything and everything deemed harmful to the country. Even Google has to “kow tow” to them and create a customized search engine for them. Furthermore, you don’t “yet” see Adsense coming up in Chinese language yet, do you ? (I don’t see that the last time I went to Google.cn) I bet Google is planning something really big for China. A vacuum business place where no one can get in and get out… haha
