2) Jee: Hi Gobala, Do you know where to download free autoresponder with email verification? Means when someone keys in the name and email address, an email while be sent to his email address to confirm the opt-in, then only send him the landing page. Hope to receive yr reply ASAP.

3) sathasivam: i am a malaysian, can i receive money from paypal e-mail? if yes how? pls reply me as soon as possible.

4) sjaffril: Hi Gobala, Have you or any of your local malaysian friends tried money bookers before ? If you do, what is your opinion or any feedback from them.

5) albert: Are you selling your e-book using USD and not RM? It is rather strange to do business in USD in Malaysia. Customers will pay more for nothing ‘cos of the loss in the exchange rate.

6) Dundang Bantin: It’s almost 3 months now I work through site after site and buying their products (such as 404 secrets.com, HomeDataTypers.com, PowerlinkGenerator.com,) I still cannot start with my business and haven’t earning yet. Where shall I start? I am still hoping to use PayPal without to open an account in Singapore. I hope the Malaysiapal can help me with this later. Thank you.

5 Secrets To Responsive Blog Traffic

Email marketing is getting tougher by the day. With ISPs coming up with their own definition of what’s SPAM and what’s not, you may find that your email are not getting delivered to as many people as it should be. This is the reality of 2006. As an alternative, most marketers nowadays perfer to use blogs as their marketing forefront. There’s no issues with this, except one nagging question:

How do I get more visitors to my blog?

And that’s followed by this question:

How do I get visitors to leave comments on my blog?

These are NOT the answer:

  1. Provide great content: So what if you provide good tips? There are equally great content (if not better) elsewhere.
  2. Design a beautiful blog: Beauty is only skin deep. After the initial ‘wow factor’, what’s left?
  3. Use SEO: Ok, this will work for traffic, but not for loyalty or responsiveness. So SEO is not the ultimate answer.
  4. Talk about Google: If you really have nothing better to say, then by all means talk about Google. But there’s tons of other bloggers talking about Google :)

How Do You Deal With Idiot Customers?

I’m writing this post feeling more than just annoyed.

I’m furious.

There comes a time in your business when you are put through the challenge of dealing with the most obnoxious idiots around. These people can’t be reasoned with. There aren’t many around (thank god) but they are out there, somewhere.

The New Game of Google AdWords

When I first started using AdWords (early 2003) if was magic. For $0.05 a click, I can prmote any affiliate program I wanted and make a profit.

However by end of 2004 “The AdWords Game” had changed dramatically. There was no longer such a a thing as cheap clicks anymore, and it became near impossible to make a profit promoting affiliate programs that paid below $20 in commissions (in most niches).

The new game, it seems, is all about site conversion for upfront cash. I remember asking Patric, and he told me that you just can’t use AdWords to build traffic to a free site anymore (this includes trying to build an opt-in list to a free ezine). Instead, you have to be selling something up-front so that you can cover your cost, and determine your conversion rate.

Who better to talk about converting AdWords clicks other than Mr AdWords himself, Perry Marshall.
For my most recent ad campaign, I was selling my own product (I gave up promoting other people’s ebook with PPC) and the results is a 8% conversion rate. The ratio of dollar spent : dollar earned is almost 1:9. In other words, the Return on Investment (ROI) is 900% – I know it sounds ridiculous, but it’s not uncommon.
