wow.. cost a bomb-la! for a 1 day (8 hours?) seminar! many sites on the internet teaches wordpress for free. if you a total noob wanting to read up i do recommend gobala’s easywordpress or ewen chia’s book, or simply google good ol’ google!
Nah… I think the biggest mistake people make is assuming that all information is equal. The method of delivery, and the experience, make it different. If it wasn’t, why would people pay thousands to get to Anthony Robbin’s seminars when they can just get his book in the bookstore?
I agreed with Gobala. Yes, it’s true that you can get the so called ‘free information’ on that net. In fact, there are thousand or millions of information you could them for free or at a very low price. But yet, why only the 5% succeed in IM?
As what Gobala has mentioned, what make the information different are the method of delivery, and the experiences. Do you think the knowledge you’re having right now are all perfect and already enough? Human being cannot be 100% perfect and that including the information they provide to you. Person A will give you this, this and this. Person B could give you that, that, and that. Or maybe they might have almost the same content. But one thing for sure, you will learn something new from every piece of information you can get, either is free or paid.
And some people might just hate to read and rather pay thousands dollar to learn what they want to learn.
P.S. This is just my 2 cent. No Offence to you or anyone here.

Blogging For Money Seminar…
I just came across a blogging for money seminar in Malaysia called “Wordpress Adsense Mastery Malaysia”. The enrollment fee costs from a whopping RM600 (early bird) to RM1,200 per person. Before you spend your hard-earned money, listen to …
hmmm gobala, your details are all over your mybloglog profile. Might want to filter those out
Oh I see, thanks!
Hi Gobala,
Greetings and Congratulations on your journey!
I have signed up with May Ong and Steven Wong’s Blogging course this August. I’m planning to start my blog very soon.
Although there are many free info out there, I signed up because I feel and think this can shorten my learning curve. I like to have interactive and personal session with my coaches and this will help me to affirm what I know and to improve on the things I don’t, in a straight forward manner. Sometimes we learn the fastest with someone by ourself, pointing out the steps.
I’ll see how it goes. Hope after attending the course, I’ll be able to leave my feedback.
All the best to all of you! All the best to me!
Good luck to you, Sock Chin! Attending live events are still one of the best ways to get started with your own internet business.
It is true if you look hard enough you can source most things for free on the internet
