I Won a Copy of Easy Members Pro Membership Site Software!

Wow, I got up today morning to be greeted by something I didn’t expect (but was hoping for).

I got an email from Kim saying that I won a free copy of the new EasyMembersPro membership site software!

Here’s the email:

Hi Gobala

Congratulations, you are the 6th winner of the EasyMembersPro membership script.

Both Anthony and I felt your pain and frustration trying to use some of the scripts available.

We hope you have a lot of fun with your copy of EasyMemberPro.

It will be sent to you when we launch on the 9th January 2007.

Kind Regards
Kim

Wow.. I have been really luck the past few months. End of November I won a grand prize to a 3 day 2 night stay in Holday Villa Langkawi, Malaysia. Now I win a free membership site script.

EasyMembersPro.com is launching a new, slick and clean membership site software on January 9th, and they are giving away 10 free accounts. All you need to do is submit a entry on their blog and tell them why you deserve the software.

Here’s the blog entry I submitted, which explains how I really felt with all the inferior membership site scripts available in the market:

I need this!

For almost 2 years I have been trying to get a membership site that actually works the way I want to, but in the process of finding it I’ve spent more than $750+, and here’s how:

1) Membership Site Script with “Resell Rights”

I’m sure some of you have tried this before. The script is basically meant to be sold to people who will resell it to other resellers. The actual script itself is junk.

2) Freelance Coders

Yes, just to to Elance or RentACoder and pay someone to develop a script for you. My… if you are cluless like me when I first started, you’ll probably get conned by the coders themselves. It’s difficultto get these people to even understand what you want..

3) “Paypal-only” Scripts

Yes Paypal is easy. But I’d rather jump off a 60 storey building than put all my eggs in Paypal’s basket. I bought some scripts only to find out that they accept Paypal only… If you wanted to add 2Checkout you’ll need to pay someone to modify it, which again brings us to problem number 2.

There’s a lot of membership scripts out there.

I’m using Amember, but I like the fact that your software allows multiple currencies, Paypal, and 2CO. This could have arrived at a more opportune time as I am about to release a “local” membership site and I need this added payment options. Not to mention the ability to pay affiliates by check…again I dont trust Paypal…

So give me a copy of EasyMembersPro. I have seen it in action with NPM. I know it works.

If there’s anyone that’s suffered long enough trying to build something exactly like this from scratch, it’s me. And I’ll probably be spending more money trying until I get it right.

Help me end my misery :)

I guess my post explains it all.

If you want a copy of the script for free (about 3-4 left) you need to register on their site, and post a comment on their blog on why you need the EasyMembersPro software. You could win one too..

Sign-up at: www.EasyMembersPro.com

I don’t know how much it costs, as they didn’t mention the price just yet. Either way I already got one for free :)

Here are some screenshots from the software:

easymemberspro4.jpg Accepting both Paypal and 2CheckOut is a good idea. Currently the only script I know of that allows this is AMemberPro.net. With this feature you can use either one, or both at the same time.

The site also comes with a complete site-builder, so you can create the site template (or upload your own), add images, create navigation bars and write the content pages.

They have an online text editor you can use to create your pages. This is useful for those who don’t know how to create a HTML page. Advanced users may prefer to create it themselves and upload the pages.

easymemberspro3.jpg

easymemberspro2.jpg

The standard page management features allow you to customize the navigation for your site.

easymemberpro1.jpg They have quite advanced affiliate management tools built into the site. Any member that signs up aotumatically becomes an affiliate.

You can set-up different commission amount for different type of memberships, and you can choose to pay your affiliates by Check or Paypal.

Paypal is definately going to be used 95% of the time, but having a backup option is great.

Launching on 9th January 2007, sign-up and try to win a copy at www.EasyMembersPro.com

Wow…up to 60 days ago I never won anything in any type of lucky draw or contest.

I guess 2007 is going to be my lucky year!

Wise man say: “Small wins sign of big wins to come”.

Ok, maybe wise man didn’t say that, but it sounds good and I’m sure we all could do with more cherries in life!

Hey Gobala, I was reading your blog and it mentioned about PAYPAL and 2CHECKOUT. Need your advise here plse: For a business which sells products at prices @USD80-140, expecting sales transactions of about 20-30 per month, which payment merchants would you recommend?

I’ve heard so many pros and cons about Paypal, 2checkout, worldpay, etc… and I’m no closer to a decision than when I first started.

Much obliged.

Hi Gecko,

Go with Paypal, it’s the easiest and should cover almost everything your need. Plus, the fees are cheaper than 2CheckOut..

Congrats Gobala!

I have been beta testing this script for Anthony and its quality and features are simply awesome. Just like you I have been searchning for a solution and this script was the first I have found that integrated 2 major things - Content Management and Viral marketing.

I wrote a review of the script and if interested in more details, you can find them here:

Hi Globala,

I’ve just got started with your easy adsense system.

Have spent some £1,500 - £2,000 in the last year on adsense systems which I believe are far inferior to yours.

I’m so glad I came across your system on New Years Day. Have had a problem or two with the plugins but I’m still well on the way having only had a few hours to get started.

I had one guy wanted me to invest £2,500 in a membership site. Glad I didn’t do that!

Would love to have one of these sites.

Keep up the great work.

I’m feel I’m off to a great start for 2007.

Andrew

I had read an ebook entitled “PayPal Hell” or something like that. Apparently PayPal love to freeze accounts for no good reasons.

Gobala,

It’s not blogmarketingtactics.com I need help with… It’s setting up a membership site on another domain.

I have collected a TON of good info on blog, rss feed, podcast and video marketing and I thought the best way to provide this information is in a membership site.

Hi Greg,

To tell you the truth I’m not a technical person myself. I know nothing about programing and setting up a membership site from scratch.

So I go with off-the-shelf solutiong like EasyMembersPro.com and AMemberPro.net

Congratulations!

Be sure to keep us updated of how EasyMembersPro is. A review of it would be best! ;)
Anyway, I’m wondering what’s the wordpress plugin you’re using for showing the ‘Bookmark’ like digg, del.icio.us and so?

And also what’s the plugin you use for showing the technorati’s tag?

Thanks in advance.

Ainuddin,

Yes Paypal can cause you problems, but you don’t really need to worry about that as you may never be in that situation.

If you do get into that situation however, let me know and I’ll be willing to help. I have had some “unpleasant” experiences with them before and know how to solve them now…

Hi Gobala!

Contrats for winning a copy of the script!

Iv read you’ve used the aMember Pro before acquiring the EasyMemberPro..

What are the pros in EMP that youve chosen it over aMember?

Im still on decision on which one to buy to replace my current membership site script…

Thanks for your help!

Thanks!

Hi Gobala,

Is the easymemberpro allowed for 1 site only or unlimited. How about JV Manager, have you heard of it before?

Hi John,

They allow one license per site, although they have an unlimited license, today is the last day it’s offered.

About JV manager, it’s more of an affiliate management tool isn’t it?

Hello Gobala Krishnan,

I think we both share the same fate about searching and finding a good membership site script that works.

Well I really share your passion, and as I write, I just found out your blog today, and there are a lot of things you are doing that i really admire.

Well the membership site script is all gone and the bad news is I didnt have a chance to grab it.

Well, Congratulations for you grabbing yours, but my problem is I’m planning to run a free membership site, but I really need a working version of a solid membership script, I can’t afford it, because I’m working on a lean budget.

I want you to see what you can do for me, I NEED THIS SCRIPT LIKE ANYTHING ELSE.

Keep doing your thing! You are a bomb!!!!

Peter
