WordPress Link Cloaking Plugin for LinkTrackr

LinkTrackr is designed for simplicity. We want to help more affiliate marketers to cloak and track their affiliate marketing campaigns without the need for scripts and bulky software.

However, since many users now already have their own WordPress blogs, we’ve also included a link cloaking plugin for WordPress blogs. The plugin is easy to install, and you can use it on as many WordPress blogs as you want.

With the lick cloaking plugin, you can easily convert any keyword on your blog into affiliate links. Just enter the keyword for each link, and the plugin will do the rest.

Plus, you can specify the amount of keywords per post you want to convert, so you’ll never end up with a spammy-looking blog.

I’ve been using this plugin on this blog for a week now, and it works just fine.

However, unlike similar link cloaking or link masking plugins, all your data is stored in your centralized LinkTrackr account. Therefore, you can use this plugin on many different blogs without having to duplicate your links for each blog.

Also, you get much better reporting because you’re only looking at one centralized report instead of many reports on many blogs.

In the next few weeks, we’ll be improving this WP link cloaker plugin to be faster and easier to use.

Signup for a LinkTrackr account here. You can use our $1 trial to test it out for 30 days before you decide if you want to keep it or not.

LinkTrackr Explained in One Simple Image

I’ve been trying to find the words to explain how LinkTrackr works and why every affiliate marketer should get an account, but I’ve come up with an even better way – to simple draw it out.

Look at the diagram below, and I’m sure you’ll pretty much understand the main purpose of LinkTrackr. While we’re only launching next week, you can subscribe now to get some free affiliate marketing tips.

Boxbe Review – And Why You Don’t Need It!

Every time I send out an email to my subscribers, I will without doubt get a verification email from Boxbe.com. I click on every one of them and verify myself, which 99.9% of Internet marketers won’t bother to do.

Recently, I started to receive more and more email from Boxbe, which means of course they are increasing their user base. So I decided to signup myself and check it out. Here’s my review of the service.

boxbe

What is Boxbe?

Basically, it’s a free service that you can use to protect your email inbox from spammers and unwanted email. You can use it will all your existing Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail accounts. When you signup for Boxbe they will ask for your login and password, and they will automatically create (in the case of Gmail) a filter for Boxbe. They they will filter all your incoming mail.

When you receive an email, Boxbe checks to see if the sender (or the sending domain) is in your “whitelist”. If it is not, Boxbe will automatically send an email to the sender, asking him to confirm that he is a real human being. If the email was sent by a spammer, he will not confirm as he’s probably using a fake email, or he’s just not interested in doing that extra work.

So therefore, at the end of the day, you will have a squeaky clean inbox. No spam, no unwanted email, only the people you choose to hear from.

Here’s the problem:

  • Boxbe overrides Gmail’s wonderful spam filter, and that sucks big time
  • If you’re getting unwanted email, check at the bottom of the email and you will be able to unsubscribe anyways
  • If you cannot unsubscribe from unwanted email, just mark it as spam and Gmail will automatically send all email from the person to the spam folder

Here’s a sample of the amount of hardcore spam that Boxbe allows to my inbox:

boxbe-2

All these are clear cut spam, yet Boxbe delivers them to my Gmail inbox. Without Boxbe, Gmail would have automatically sent all these to the spam folder, but now I have to do it myself.

Therefore, here’s my conclusion – you don’t need Boxbe.

It only makes your life harder and gives you more work to do as you have to manually report all the spam emails, and manually accept all the legitimate ones. I’m an internet marketer and I receive on average 1,000 – 3,000 emails per week, yet I managed just fine without Boxbe.

Switch to Gmail. Their spam filters are great. Learn to unsubscribe to email newsletters you no longer want to subscribe to. Learn to create filters in Gmail to automatically sort email you only want to read later.

Perhaps they may improve later and overcome these issues, but for now I’ll pass.
