Earn RM4,000 Monthly With Our Affiliate Program

One very popular question I get is "How Much Money Can I Make Promoting Internet Millionaires Club?"

To answer this question, for the whole month of February I marketed IMC using my affiliate link for testing purposes just to see how much money an affiliate can make marketing this site.

 imc-comission-potential

I have censored other affiliate’s data for privacy, but you can see that the affiliate ID I created for myself where I generated USD 249.12 commissions for the entire month,or roughly about RM800. But, that’s just the first month!

The Internet Millionaires Club affiliate program pays you 40% commissions per month, which means that you can make monthly income from just one sale for as long as the sale is active. Lets assume that only 80% of members renew their membership every month for the next 6 months.

So, if I keep up with my marketing efforts exactly as it is, I can continue to generate RM800 in new sales every month plus RM640 from my previous month’s sale. After 6 months, this is how much I can be earning:

  • Month 1: RM800
  • Month 2: RM800 + RM640 = RM1,440
  • Month 3: RM800 + RM1,280 = RM2,080
  • Month 4: RM800 + RM1,920 = RM2,720
  • Month 5: RM800 + RM2,560 = RM3,360
  • Month 6: RM800 + RM3,200 = RM4,000

In total, for 6 months you can logically make a total of RM13,600 and after that you can even make more.

There are a few reasons why our affiliate program is a great choice for you to make money online:

  • I, Gobala Krishnan have a proven track record of making money online and at any give time I can show complete proof of how much I make – and people already know this!
  • This site is uniquely catered to the needs of Malaysians, and you will not find any other site like this one
  • My copywriting skills, and the use of audio / video presentations, will ensure that anyone you send to the sales page will be interested, and about 3% will sign-up.
  • We can pay you via Paypal (USD) or Ringgit Malaysia check (coming soon) at the end of every month as long as you balance is more than USD10.00
  • Instead of getting paid only once per sale, you get paid every month for your referred sale until the sale is canceled by the member

In the next few posts, I’ll share a little information with you on how to promote IMC both online and offline, using a few targeted and effective strategies that I have used to accomplish my own results.

My Favourite Firefox Addon

Firefox is a great browser. It is relatively safe from bugs and has the bonus of giving us tons of added functionality if we choose to want it. Since doing the switch from IE7 last year to Firefox I have not regretted this and love it with a passion.

image

Since there are so many addons we can choose,it is easy to get confused on what to choose and what not.

Therefore I wrote this post to show you my very own favourite Firefox addon.

The reason being that I can learn more and more about stylesheets and coding and tamper with my own WordPress blogs while learning without stuffing up the code.

firebug

Firebug gives me a ton of features which allow me to see code on any website I’m currently browsing. If I want to know how a certain image is pulled from the stylesheet I can open Firebug by going to the tools section in Firefox, then Firebug and Inspect Element. You can see this in the screen shot above.

How to inspect an element

Now to inspect an actual element on a website I navigate to this and click on the “Inspect Element” line as shown while the actual site is open.

Below is a screenshot on what will happen if look at this website Easy WordPress and try to see the size of the header image.

easy wordpress

Not only will I be able to see which reference in the stylesheet is pointing to the header, but I’ll also have the information on HTML which would be found in the actual header.php file in your WordPress admin.

To actually see this result you will have to click on the actual element you are trying to inspect. It is kind of like hovering until you see the red floating border appear and then clicking your mouse which will set it at that position.

Don’t worry, you won’t be changing any code on the actual website!

Here is the actual reference from the stylesheet again found in the bottom right corner of the image above.

stylesheet

The code on here tells us that the header image is 960px wide and 110px high. Naturally this is only a small example and could actually also be found out by right clicking on it and then looking at properties.

Non coders (those who haven’t formally learned coding) often get confused on what code needs to be changed in order to add a certain function. Using Firebug will allow you to learn in your own time as you can actually click on this section of Firebug (the stylesheet) and change code.

Doing this will change the layout of the blog (again only in theory not actually). Once you know exactly what to do to make it right, you simply log into your own blog and change the code accordingly.

But don’t forget – always make a backup before you tamper with any code!

Tun Dr Mahathir on FaceBook?

Going with my previous article on Malaysian politicians using the Internet, here’s another shocker I got today – Tun Dr Mahathir’s fan page on FaceBook!

mahathir

His FaceBook profile is better than mine, plus he has 6,000+ fans at the moment. It goes without saying that someone else is doing the page for him, but it’s a job well done. It goes to show the power of social networking sites like Friendster, LinkedIn and more importantly, FaceBook.

With Facebook you can create a page for any cause, and you can even use FaceBook Social Ads to market your FaceBook pages. Never underestimate the power of viral marketing.

Silent Google Page Rank Update – Did it Really Happen?

Yesterday I had a rather pleasant surprise. While navigating around my blog to check out my latest readers from MyBlogLog I noticed that my page rank bar looked rather fat. I did a double take and sure enough I had been upgraded from the almighty to a page rank 4.

google page rank

While it isn’t really that important to even bother about page rank, it sure as hell is for credibility amongst other bloggers.

I’m not sure what you guys do when browsing blogs. But when I check out what’s happening in the blogosphere I normally always glimpse in that toolbar to see where they stand in terms of page rank.

When I see a decent enough figure it tells me that this person is credible enough and obviously has a decent blog with decent traffic. Do you do this too, or do you focus more on the content of the blog itself without bothering to look at the little bar (come on, be honest here).

I know it is probably silly, but I have always done that, ever since I learned about page rank and how Google rules the Internet.

This doesn’t mean that I won’t read a blog that hasn’t got any page rank, or even think that they are not worth anything. Far from it actually.

But this little green bar just has that special attention grabbing effect, that coupled with a great headline will make me read on for more.

I wonder whether anybody else has experienced the same on their own blogs?

Malaysia Election Campaigns Powered by Google Adwords

Looks like I am not the only Internet marketing expert, now even political websites are using Google Adwords PPC advertising to drive traffic to their Malaysia election campaign websites. Type in "Malaysia" or "election" in Google and you might see something like this:

malaysia-election It’s interesting to note however that the ads are only from opposition parties. The ruling party on the other hand still thinks that the Internet is for playing games and chatting.

However the ads are not targeted and all visitors are sent to the main page. Anyone familiar with Google Adwords knows that doing this is just a waste of money, but I guess these guys have a lot of money right now to burn.

Someone is obviously getting rich by helping the political parties to market their election websites and messages via the Internet.

Maybe they should hire me as their Internet marketing consultant…?

But the sites themselves are quite ok, with a blog-style layout and also the incorporation of videos.

malaysia-elections

They should be driving traffic to those page or better still a targeted page where users can find out venues and other stuff, not the general home page where the user doesn’t know what to do next. If I was doing Google Adwords advertising like this I’m sure I would go bankrap by now :)

I guess this is really the final frontier for Internet marketing in Malaysia – when politicians start using it for the election campaigns!

Nasty WordPress Pirates Are Roaming the Internet

Adii wrote an interesting post the other day regarding premium WordPress designers and how pirates are reselling their work for a pittance on some other sites after doing minor changes to them.

This begs the question on where this will end. Unfortunately it is true that wherever there is money, there are also thieves. Since the Internet is a haven for opportunists, money is made in staggering numbers and some of the more unsavory lowlife of this worldly presence are trying to cash in at the back end.

Designing a WordPress theme is a lot of work. Especially when you look at premium themes like Adii’s and Brian Gardener. These two designers have been the recent target of WordPress pirates.

And no, they didn’t do a mutiny either.

The question is, what can a designer do to protect his/her integrity and work on the Internet. In some ways we are all open to abuse of the digital kind and this thought alone is kind of scary.

Yes, there are laws and such, but how easy is it to police them when the perpetrators sit across oceans in some re-routed living room using a fake ISP or what not?

Adii calls all WordPress users for support. I guess one way – the best way we can help is the NEVER EVER use a pirated premium theme. Another is to always go the source to buy your themes, regardless of whether you can get it cheaper.

I guess the old saying of what goes around comes around won’t even touch these pirates ears since they don’t give a damn.

But we can!

How do you see this? Do you feel that we should support WordPress premium theme designers for the greater good of all?

Get Traffic From Facebook Social Ads

If you’re in need for super-targeted traffic to your blog or your salespages, Facebook Social Ads are a great way to get them.

Facebook Social Ads are essentially a Pay-Per-Click (or Per-Impression) serviced introduced not too long ago by Facebook to capitalize on their growing community. The most important feature of Facebook Social Ads is the ability to laser-target your audience based not only on keywords, but also on country, age, sex, occupation and a whole lot of other demographics.

Watch the video I created below for step-by-step instructions on how to set-up a Facebook Social Ads campaign.

Our Little Internet Millionaires Club Keeps Growing

When I first started InternetMillionares.com.my I was a bit skeptical.

I wasn’t really sure if I should spend my time catering to the Malaysian market, since:

  • I can literally make 3 times more with the same information marketed to a US-based crowd like I do with WordPress Adsense System – most Malaysians are shocked when they convert USD97 to RM310 but I’m getting at least 1-2 sale per day from the international market
  • I was already getting pretty irritated with the Malaysian mentality after 2 years of dealing with lazy bums who cannot make up their own mind or take responsibility for their actions
  • Even Patric Chan (the last time I spoke to him was in World Internet Summit Singapore) said that he had given up on the Malaysian market, probably due to the same 2 reasons above. Personally I don’t blame him..

Still I wanted to contribute something locally and thus started moving Malaysian-related content away from my personal blog and started this site. I wasn’t 100% sure of the response I was going to get even though Patric himself joked that I am more famous than he is (in Malaysia at least).

But the signs are good.

imc-alexa

Overall, this site has slowly but consistently risen up the traffic charts on Alexa, to about 74,000 right now. Not bad considering some people are below Alexa 100,000 even after a year of blogging.

imc-analytics

In terms of actual traffic, Google Analytics also shows a significant improvement from the same period last month, although I actually forgot to put the codes on some high traffic pages and I just corrected that mistake yesterday :)

imc-countries

94.8% of visitors are from Malaysia. Geo-targeting seems to be working, with the .com.my domain name and the site targeting using Google Webmaster tools. Basically I’m trying to tell Google that my site is super-targeted to Malaysia.

imc-silver

Show me the money!

Finally, I’d say we’re adding about 2 new Silver members per day, which is good but still below my target of 5 new members / day. I have to refine my advertising and hopefully with my new media strategy and the launch of my much-delayed book, this will happen easily.

So for all Silver members, fear not. I’m not going to abandon my project, and this site isn’t going to disappear.

I wanted to start a strong Internet marketing community in Malaysia as I strongly believe that I can do that. If you attended the last mastermind session and you’re happy with what you got, let me tell you that was just 20% of what I had in mind to achieve.

More good things coming your way!
