What does it take to create a video that goes completely viral and ends up being seen by over 20 million eyeballs?
Hannes Johnson compiled a neat list of the Top 10 viral videos of 2007, with some honorable mentions that didn’t make it to the top 10 but nevertheless were quite viral.

Like I said in the post - if you want to make a really viral video that gets millions of views you might want to consider getting a celebrity to help you out 
Or you could just somehow reference a celebrity - maybe do a parody…
Can I reference Justin Timberlake then ask them at the end of the video to buy my ebook? Lol..
Well, if you can get Justin Timberlake to do a cameo appearance your video will probably get a lot more popular
Or you could do a spoof of the D*ck In A Box video (or another popular video) - like a few people have done. The copycat videos usually get a few thousand views (sometimes in the ten thousands or more) - just use the reply feature on YouTube.
